Tracy L Jirikowic, Ph.D., OTR/L
Dr. Jirikowic is Associate Professor in the Division of Occupational Therapy at the University of Washington. She has held a clinical appointment with the Washington State Fetal Alcohol Syndrome Diagnostic and Prevention Network for over 20 years. Her research focuses on children affected by prenatal alcohol and substance exposure and family supports. This includes early identification and intervention for young children, assessment and interventions that target sensory processing and sensorimotor development in school-aged children with FASD and community-based supports and intervention that promote inclusion and participation for children with neurodevelopmental disabilities and their families. Dr. Jirikowic also teaches courses in pediatrics, assistive technology, and interprofessional education in the UW Master of Occupational Therapy Program.
